KKDİK (Kimyasalların Kaydı, Değerlendirilmesi, İzni ve Kısıtlanması Hakkında
Yönetmelik) is Türkiye’s counterpart to EU REACH. Registration dossiers are
submitted through the Ministry’s KKS (Kimyasal Kayıt Sistemi), and KKS is
aligned to the IUCLID 6 file structure. Legacy IUCLID 5 files
(.i5z / .i5a) therefore cannot be used directly; they have to be converted
to IUCLID 6 first.
ECHA never shipped a standalone IUCLID 5 → 6 file converter. 4chems closes that gap: we convert your legacy files to valid IUCLID 6 files, free of charge. We already do this for European manufacturers registering under KKDİK.

The KKDİK timeline
From the Ministry’s implementation rules (Usul ve Esaslar) of 5 August 2025 and Geçici Madde 2 of the regulation:

How it works
We run the real software, end to end, so the conversion is faithful:
- Your IUCLID 5 file is read and validated with the genuine IUCLID 5 engine.
- A headless IUCLID 6 imports it, ECHA’s own 5 → 6 structure mapping
auto-migrates the data, and a valid
.i6zis exported. - You get the converted file back, with a short QA summary.
No GUI, no manual re-keying, and batch conversion for whole archives. Your
KDU takes the converted .i6z into KKS.

For Only Representatives and consultancies
Manufacturers outside Türkiye cannot register under KKDİK themselves. They appoint a Türkiye-based Only Representative, and the data is entered into KKS by a certified KDU.
